You will experience the colorful Bac Ha & Coc Ly market, v isit to the villages of different hill-tribe peoples , learn the past at the H ’ mong King ’ s house (King Hoang A Tuong), taste the wines different sorts of fruits, enjoy the boat ride along the Chay river, admire the s tunning landscape of Sapa and take a breath-taking view over the seasonal terraced rice fields.
Itinerary
First night: Ha Noi - Lao Cai
20 : 00 pm - You will be picked- up at your hotel in Hanoi and transferred to Hanoi railwa y station for boarding the Express Train to Laocai. Staying overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper wooden cabin (4pax/cabin or 2pax/cabin on request).
(Sunday): Lao Cai - Bac Ha market - Sapa
Our driver will pick you up at Lao Cai Railway Station then take you to Bac Ha market. The beginning of the day on which you visit a big market filled with many different hill-tribe peoples. This is the most colorf ul market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to en joy Bac Ha people ’ s simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches ... talking to the minorities through the guide ’ s interpretation. Leaving the market for the H ’ mong King ’ s house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonist s and the Chinese in 1920. Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, you will sp end time visiting Ban Pho village. It ’ s time to say good bye to Bac Ha and get back to Sapa. On the way back, we will stop over to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbour Mouth in Lao Cai. Reaching Sapa late in the afternoon. We will stay overnight at the hotel in Sapa town
(Monday): Sapa - Ban Ho - Sapa
Your breakfast is served at the hotel. You will take a jeep to Supan village and trek down to Ban Ho village. Having lu nch at the village then taking a short walk to visit t he village of the Tay ethnic people and experience the special architecture of house on stilt. Back to Sapa, you will have dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa town.
(Tuesday): Sapa - Coc Ly market - Lao Cai
Taking your breakfast at the hotel then leave from Sapa early at 7:00 AM for CocLy market, which is situated far from Sapa. You will experience the peaceful life of 6 different minority peoples (Flower H ’ mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay, HaNhi and Nung). The market i s the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one ano ther ’ s experience. Saying goodbye to the market and float down Chay river by boat. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high rock mountains and to be surprised at white and brea thtakingly waterfalls. The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. You will get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (TrungDo village) by the river. After the boat trip, we will take you to visit a small town - Bao Nhai and then take jeep back to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight o n the A/c soft sleeper cabin. You will be in Hanoi roughly 4:30 AM. The end of tour Bac Ha & Coc Ly special market & boat trip 4 days.
